About BIP

Under the editorial direction of editors Drs. Nathan Zasler and Beth Slomine, Brain Injury Professional (BIP) is an open access resource for the entire spectrum of sub-specialties involved in the scientific research and clinical care of acquired brain injury. BIP is designed to appeal to a broad, multidisciplinary audience of brain injury professionals throughout the world.

Following the affiliation between the North American Brain Injury Society (NABIS) and the International Brain Injury Association (IBIA) in 2017, BIP became an official publication of both organizations, with an expanded international focus and reach.

Each quarterly issue focuses upon a specific topic and includes original articles, expert interviews, resource sidebars, a literature and product reviews as well as regular departments covering websites of interest, new technology, nonprofit news, legislative updates, and upcoming conferences and events.

Brain Injury Professional enjoys the largest circulation of any publication on the subject of brain injury, and is published on behalf of NABIS and IBIA by HDI Publishers.  In print and on-line, over 50,000 multidisciplinary professional receive each issue.
