
Debra Braunling-McMorrow, PhD, is the Vice Chairman of the North American Brain Injury Society. She is currently a consultant for Learning Services and ReMED and the Former President/CEO of Learning Services. She is the recent outgoing editor of Brain Injury Professional. She has served as Vice President of Business Development and Outcomes and Vice President of Quality Assurance for a national rehabilitation provider. In addition, she led operations for the Center for Comprehensive Services, one of the first post acute brain injury rehabilitation programs in the country. She serves on the board of the North American Brain Injury Society and is the recipient of the 2007 NABIS Clinical Service Award.
Dr. McMorrow also serves as a Board of Trustee member for the Southern Illinois Healthcare Systems, is a member of the Federal Legislative Action Committee for the Brain Injury Association of America and is a CARF Medical Rehabilitation surveyor. Dr. McMorrow is a past chair of the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS) and has served on the Brain Injury Association of America’s board of executive directors. She has been working for persons with brain injuries for almost 30 years.
